MORE THAN A TECHNICAL EXERCISE
An owners’ association does not decide on technology alone.
There are residents with questions, a board with responsibility and a building with its own history. A good sustainability programme brings these together in a route that is technically sound and easy to explain.
Resident confidence
Technical choices translated into comfort, planning, investment and everyday use.
Board control
Clear responsibilities, evidence and decision points for every next step.
Building-wide context
Differences in dwelling type, floor level and position are consciously included.
WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
Four recognisable starting points.
An exploratory call establishes your current position and the most sensible next step.
No reliable baseline yet
Start with the building, dwelling types, existing labels and missing evidence.
Maintenance plan without energy route
Connect sustainable choices to natural maintenance moments and dependencies.
Research with possible SVVE support
Define which studies can form a useful and potentially eligible evidence package.
Preparing for the owners’ meeting
Develop an explainable preferred route with effects, risks and clear decisions.

YOUR BOARD REMAINS IN CONTROL
Expert guidance without taking over.
Royal Label maps the technical situation, makes dependencies visible and structures the information so boards and owners can have a constructive conversation.
If structural, ecological, fire-safety, financial or legal expertise is required, that boundary is made explicit. Confidence comes from clarity, not false certainty.
THE ASSOCIATION ROUTE
From different dwellings to one clear building strategy.
Survey types, levels, positions and exceptions are defined before fieldwork begins.
- 1
Evidence room
Plans, maintenance records, invoices, labels and prior studies.
- 2
Representative survey
Corner, intermediate, top and ground-floor dwellings plus exceptions.
- 3
Baseline and scenarios
Envelope, systems, ventilation, comfort, investment and label route.
- 4
Meeting-ready translation
Preferred route, dependencies, funding relevance and decision points.
SVVE · CURRENT CONDITIONS
Funding can help, but should not dictate the advice.
We first determine which research genuinely supports your association. We then check which elements may fit the current Dutch SVVE conditions. RVO makes the final decision; Royal Label does not guarantee eligibility or approval.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Clarity before commitment.
Do all apartments need to be visited?
Not always for a building-wide analysis. The right selection depends on dwelling types, floor levels, exceptions and purpose. Official labels follow the applicable Dutch BRL and ISSO rules.
Is an energy scan the same as tailored advice?
No. A scan is simplified. Registered tailored advice follows a more extensive method and is completed by a qualified adviser.
Can we discuss our needs before commissioning?
Yes. The exploratory call is intended to clarify the decision, evidence, planning and appropriate scope.
A GOOD FIRST STEP
Start with the situation, not with a standard package.
Tell us what your board, owners or property team needs to decide. We will help determine which documents, surveys and depth are genuinely useful.
